Obituary for Helen M. Hurley

Helen M. Hurley
Age 86, of Watkins Glen, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018.
According to her wishes there are no prior visitation services. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Watkins Glen, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 9:30am; followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Helen was born in Queens, NY on December 5, 1931, the daughter of Edward and Helen Hoffman. She was predeceased by her parents, and husband Ralph P. Hurley. She worked as a Community Resident Aide in Montour Falls.
She is survived five children, Richard (Judy) Hurley of Beaver Dams, Steven (Barbara) Hurley of Tyrone, Kathleen (Daniel) Banks of Watkins Glen, Brian (Kim) Hurley of Tyrone, and Alan (Cheryl) Hurley of Tyrone; sister, Margaret Goff of Ocala, FL; brother, Buddy (Terrie) Hoffman of Moscow, PA; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
