Robert C. Wager
Age 83, of Burdett, passed away January 17, 2018.
Robert was born in Watkins Glen on January 25, 1934, the son of Lincoln G. and Edna Wager. He honorably served in the US Army from 1956-1958, stationed in Korea. Bob worked at Besmer Co. in Lansing, NY, retiring in 1996.
He was predeceased by his parents, and sisters, Rosalind Maine and Dorothy Smith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; children, Ashley (Tracy) Foy of Richlands, NC; Scott (Jeanne) Wager of Vestal, NY; and Karen Crane (Robert Arden) of Burdett; brother, Lincoln Wager of Watkins Glen; sister-in-law, Jane (Ronald) Salyer of Penn Yan; and five grandchildren, Jordan Foy; Kaitlin Crane, Ashley Crane, Zachary Wager and Cole Wager.
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Monday (January 22nd) from 2pm-4pm; followed by a Memorial service and military honors celebrating his life at the funeral home at 4:00pm; Rev. Jane Winters officiating.
