Kathy Swarthout
Age 59, of Beaver Dams, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 9, 2017.

She was born on June 3,1958 in Montour Falls, the daughter of George and Elsie Morrow. She married her husband of 42 years, David Swarthout on December 21, 1974. She is survived by her husband David; four children, Hollie Swarthout (grandchildren, Savoree and Joseph), David (Nina) Swarthout (grandchildren, Aryana, Karina and David III), Darci (Paul) Kasprzyk (grandson Paul Jr.), Kevin Swarthout (and fur babies), her fur babies; and a large extended family.

Kathy worked at The Arc of Schuyler as a driver for over 20 precious years. She developed many special bonds with the residents, staff and her fellow drivers. She was also a volunteer at Schuyler County Ambulance and Beaver Dams Fire Department. She was fearless at expressing her feelings, often with her body language in many ways.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday (Dec. 16th) at the Beaver Dams Fire Department, 1165 CR-19, Beaver Dams; from 5pm-8pm.
