Obituary for Margaret Dean

Margaret Dean
Age 77, of Burdett, NY, passed away on her birthday, October 19, 2017.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday, October 25th, from 4-6pm; followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm. A committal service will be held Thursday at 10am at the Union Cemetery of Hector, Burdett.

Born in Corry, PA, the daughter of Frank and Sussie Henton, she was one of 16 children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1999; son, Mike in 2011; and 2 brothers. She is survived by son, Rex (Dawnell) Nunemaker of Centerville, PA; daughter, Elizabeth (Charles) Hill of Garland, TX; son, Brad Nunemaker (Mary Hicks) of Centerville, PA; and four stepdaughters, Susan, Sally, Sheryl and Shelly. She is also survived by 5 brothers; 8 sisters; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
She and her late husband, Donald, where life members of the Watkins Glen VFW. Margaret drove school bus for the Watkins Glen Central School District for many years.

Memorial donations may be made to Burdett Fire Dept., P.O. Box 238, Burdett, NY 14818, or Schuyler County Vol. Ambulance, P.O. Box 2, Watkins Glen, NY 14891.
