Obituary for Judith A. Harbot

Judith A. Harbot
Age 76, of Cross Road, Watkins Glen, passed away March 18, 2017 at Schuyler Hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Judy was born in Elmira on April 5, 1940, the daughter of Frank and Phyllis (Hart) Frasier. She graduated from Watkins Glen Central School and worked as a custodian at the school until she retired in 2002. Judy loved everyone and they loved her back. She was always known as “ma”, even by people she didn’t know. Judy is surely going to be missed by everyone who knew her. Judy is predeceased by parents; also husband of 50 years, Harry Harbot, Sr.; brother-in-law, John Harbot; sister-in-law, Geraldine Conaway; brother, Gene Frasier; and son-in-law George Emery. She is survived by eight children, Thomas Harbot (Bert) of Burdett, Frank Harbot (Diane) of Odessa, Ronda (Barry) Grady of Hector, Karl Harbot of Elmira, Cheryl (Wally) Thompson of Watkins Glen, Robyn Harbot of Watkins Glen, Harry Harbot, Jr. of Watkins Glen, and Julia Emery of Watkins Glen; favorite aunt Marlene Maynard of Elmira; brothers and sisters, Eva (David) Wickham of Florida, Henry (Pat) Frasier of Alpine, James (Blanche) Frasier of South Carolina, Virginia (Mike) Alvers of Georgia, and Jane Frasier of Odessa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday (March 23) at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, from 1pm-3pm; followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 3:00pm. Those wishing may consider a memorial donation in her memory to Catholic Charities (Food Panty), 607 N. Franklin St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891.
